Custom iron-on patches featuring heat-activated thermal adhesive backing for quick, stitch-free application onto uniforms, caps, and promotional apparel. Designed for a permanent bond with a low 20-piece MOQ and fast turnaround in Singapore.
Streamline your uniform customization, corporate branding, and promotional merchandise with custom iron-on patches from Bukittag. Engineered with a specialized heat-activated thermoplastic adhesive backing (heat-seal film), these patches eliminate the need for manual stitching. By applying targeted heat and pressure with a standard household iron or commercial heat press, the thermal adhesive melts and fuses directly into garment fibers, creating a firm, durable bond as it cools.
Designed for corporate onboarding packs, workwear uniforms, school bags, caps, and event giveaway jackets across Singapore, our iron-on backing works seamlessly with all core patch styles. Choose high-density embroidered patches for a classic 3D raised texture, fine-spun woven patches for crisp micro-typography, or full-color printed patches for complex graphic gradients.
Iron-on patches perform best on heat-resistant natural fabrics such as 100% cotton, heavy denim, canvas, and cotton-poly twills. For garments subjected to industrial washing or high-strain fieldwork, adding a simple border anchor stitch provides long-term reinforcement. With a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of just 20 pieces and rapid local turnaround of 5 to 9 business days following proof approval, Bukittag makes iron-on patch ordering effortless. Pre-Heat & Position: Set your iron to maximum heat (150°C–160°C / Cotton setting with NO steam). Iron the garment area for 10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
Place the Patch: Position the patch face up on your garment where desired.
Cover with Cloth: Place a thin cotton pressing cloth or baking parchment paper over the patch surface to protect the thread artwork.
Press Firmly: Apply the iron vertically with firm body-weight pressure for 30 to 60 seconds. Do not slide the iron back and forth.
Press Reverse Side: Turn the garment inside out and press the back of the patch area for an additional 15 seconds to cure the adhesive.
Cool & Inspect: Let the garment cool completely for 2 minutes. Check the edges; if any edge lifts, re-apply heat for 15 seconds.

Iron-on patches feature a specialized heat-activated adhesive backing. When pressed with a hot household iron or heat press (150°C–160°C) for 30–60 seconds, the thermal layer melts into the fabric fibers and solidifies upon cooling to create a tight bond.
Iron-on patches bond best with heat-resistant fabrics like 100% cotton, denim, canvas, and cotton-poly twills. They are not recommended for synthetic nylon, waterproof-coated fabrics, or delicate silk, as high heat can damage these materials.
Yes. Our commercial-grade heat-seal adhesive is formulated to resist machine washing when turned inside out on gentle cycles. For heavy-duty industrial washing or uniform garments subjected to high physical strain, adding a few anchor stitches along the border guarantees permanent durability.
Yes. Thermal heat-seal backing can be applied to custom embroidered patches, fine woven patches, and photographic printed fabric patches.
Our Minimum Order Quantity starts at just 20 pieces per design, catering to small business orders, school projects, and corporate uniform batches.
Iron-on patches are intended as permanent attachments. However, reheating the patch with an iron can soften the adhesive enough to peel it off gently, though residual adhesive may remain on the garment fabric.
Standard production takes 5 to 9 business days following artwork proof approval. Express delivery options are available for urgent corporate events and deadlines.
Yes! A commercial heat press is ideal for volume orders. Set the heat press to 150°C–160°C with medium-to-heavy pressure for 15 to 20 seconds.
We accept vector files in AI, EPS, SVG, or high-resolution PDF format. High-resolution PNG or JPEG files are also accepted, and our design team will digitize them into a stitch map.
You can apply iron-on patches directly to garments in just 30 to 60 seconds using a standard household iron or commercial heat press, eliminating the need for any manual sewing.
Premium heat-seal adhesive melts under temperature and pressure to fuse deep into fabric fibers, creating a secure, long-lasting bond.
The thermal heat-seal backing pairs seamlessly with embroidered, woven, or printed patch styles across heat-resistant natural and blended fabrics like 100% cotton, heavy denim, canvas, and cotton-poly twills.
It is the fastest and most cost-effective method for mass corporate onboarding batches, school club badges, event merchandise, and uniform customization.
